Up for consideration is a vintage ACK C34 multi-pattern condenser microphone. These vintage AKG stereo mics are in big demand and are generall preferred to the usually more expensive Neumann versions. The C34 is a variable SDC mic using 4x CK-1 capsules, with 9 remote-controlled patterns for every conceivable kind of coincident stereo pick up, including X/Y, M/S and Blumlein. The included S42 pattern selector box has 9 remotely controlled patterns, for even further control of tonality and room sound. These mics are fantastic for remote/location recordings, but also excell in studio work. So here is a rare chance to pick up a near-mint, vintage AKG C34 and get one of the best stereo mics ever made!!!

CONDITION
This mic is in near-mint condition, with just some small scratches from normal use. The mic body tube is missing a set screw, but is still perfectly stable and functional. The mic can be powered by running 12V to 48V Phantom Power to the S42 pattern selector box. When using a battery-powered field mixer for remote work, 12V will give longer hours of battery operation. For Studio use, standard 48V Phantom is also perfectly fine.
