Up for consideration is a brand new Ameritage 10-String / 8-String classical guitar hardshell case. This guitar is from the Ameritage Silver Series, which features a ultra-sturdy 6-ply hardwood shell, with black trim, brass hardware, and a compression-fit suspension system to offer maximum protection for your concert instrument. It is very difficult to find high-end custom cases for multi-string guitars, and here for the very first time is a model specifically made for the concert 10-string guitar.

This case was designed by Alex, Ameritage's design / production magager, at the 2006 Summer NAMM show in Austin, TX. The photos below show Alex measuring my 1984 Ramirez 1a De Camera 10-String guitar. The second to last photo partially shows the original Ramirez case, which was a flimsy case, and a terrible match for a fine concert instrument.

The case has an interior length of 42" and this should fit practically every 10-string model, like the 1972 Kohno 15 in the photo, it is best to measure your guitar to make sure it is not longer than 42". The neck braces are sculpted to fit the 10-string neck with, but the 8-string will fit in this case perfectly as well.
