Up for consideration is a near -mint Audient Black ACD converter for the portable BB4 rack enclosure or the 10-space BR-10 rack for the Audient Black Series. This rack system is slightly larger than the API 500-Series, and sports more features and also it is one of the only systems to include an ADC converter. New, these Audient Black ADC converters sell for $440, but here you can get one in near-mint condition and save $140!!!

The beauty of the Audient Black system is you can get a clean sound OR a character piece out of the same unit. The larger module size allows for these extra features that you won't find on 500-series modules: HMX, Glow, Smooth, Overcomp, Tilt, etc. Then it is about the only system with an ADC, allowing for mobile recording on the go, and the 500--series adapter lets you take your favorite 500-series flavor with you as well. To top it off, the $440 street price of these Audient Black modules is about as low as you will find for a high-quality, professional module.
