This is a classic, straight-forward compressor that not only adds a natural compression for clean lead/rhythm playing, it also works very well in conjunction with an overdrive, to reproduce the cranked-up amp sound at lower volume levels. The versatile unit has been in constant production since 1986, and is affordable enough that everybody can afford to own one.
