Up for consideration is a pair of vintage Electro Voice EV CS15e condenser mics, an electret cardioid condenser for studio and stage use, made famous by Elvis as his stage mic in the late 1970s. These are versatile studio mics with a smooth response, and sound great on many different sources. Here is a rare opportunity to pick up a pair of perfectly working mics for much less than a pair of vintage AKG C451s!!!

CLASSIC NATURAL SOUND
CS15e's have a great vintage character and tone that imparts a smoothness and musicality to your tracks. The high end is tamed slightly, and the transients are smooth, with excellent off-axis rejection. The electret capsule polizaration seems to be still relatively strong on this mic pair, as the output is easily high enough to track classical guitar without any noise problems.
