VINTAGE 1959 P-90 Dog Ear PU Cover

Up for consideration is a vintage 1959 Gibson Dog Ear P-90 pickup cover for late 1950s Gibson archtops, thinlines and electrics. This dog ear cover was recently removed from an all-original 1959 Gibson ES-225 guitar that was purchased several years for $3,500 from Gruhn Guitars (see the last photo for the covers on the original guitar). The cover is still in excellent condition despite being 55 years old. Vintage 1959 Gibson dog ear covers in excellent condition are rare, this may be just the thing for a 1959 or a late 50s / early 1960s Gibson restoration project, vintage cover back-to-stock upgrade, or a direct replacement for a damaged or broken cover.

CONDITION
This vintage Gibson dog ear cover is in excellent condition with just some minor nicks and scratches from normal use. Upon close examination, you can see slight fading inbetween the pole piece holes on the front face of the cover. It has no deformities or any kind of highly noticeable marks.
