Up for sale is a very nice 2001 Gibson Les Paul Junior Special SC in Cinamon Red. This guitar plays great, is in good condition, and, believe it or not, also sounds great -- even with the P100 pickups!! I have found that with a careful set up of these pickups, they can sound really good. They are not the PUPs you would want for metal or stadium rock, but for most other styles of music, they are really good. They are voiced to be bright like a P90, and I have the bridge PUP up as high as it will go, and it sounds great.

Anyway, that said, these Specials are good modding platforms, as you can swap out the P100 for a Mini HB, P90, HB, Gold Foil -- so you really have lots of choices to customize your tone, with a really solid 2001 mahogany body.

The guitar is in good condition, but it does have some road wear, namely a ding on the back of the neck, and some strange scratches on the the cutaway, both on the inside and outside of the horn. Frets are good with plenty of life left, and it comes with a Canadian Hardshell Case.

The guitar is a lot of fun to play, and has a comfortable 60s style neck, with a slightly more shoulder D shape. I could tell that the quality of the mahogany on this guitar is excellent, and it looks to be a 1-piece body, but I could not tell this for sure due to the no quite see-through Cinnamon Red finish.
