|SOLD 2013 Gibson SG 60's Tribute,
Upgraded Seymour Duncan Pickups,
Weight: 6 Lbs., 3 Oz.,
Aftermarket Gig Bag
Up for consideration is a Gibson SG 60's Tribute, that is in good playing condition, but has a couple of things done to it. First off, the finish in 2013 on these was known for being slightly sticky, and this one has a relic'd neck to give it a smooth playing feel, plus some vintage looks. The neck is a beautiful 1960s profile, and is extremely comfortable to play. Secondly, the PUPs have been switch out to Seymour Duncans. These are high output HBs, and they do a great job of rockin' and screamin' in the SG. Otherwise, the guitar is in relatively clean shape, just a few dings along the lower back edge -- not sure if this are intentional relic marks or just dings from use.
For me the highlight of this guitar is the feel of the neck, as the 1960s guitars are coveted for this reason, among others, and this guitar has a wide / thin profile like a real vintage early 60s SG. So these guitars are really nice to own, either to play it as is, or to use as a modding platform for your own customized 60s SG. Please check our other listings for more Gibsons, Ameritage cases, as well as Pro Audio gear -- and we are actually the world's leading manufacturer of 10-String Classical Harp guitars, with over 500 guitars sold during the last 10-years. Thanks for looking!!!
