Vintage 1980s GIBSON Long Banana Headstock Guitar Case for Corvus, Futura, Black Knight Custom

I'm not sure exactly what model guitar this case was built for, but it seems to fit several of the 'Banana Headstock" Gibsons, like the Corvus and the Black Knight Custom. It is possible that this is an electric 12-String case for the Les Paul 12-string, but I do not have one of these to test, so please measure your guitar 2x before purchasing, just to be safe.

It does NOT FIT the SG body shape, so this is NOT the right case for a SG-12, and I'm pretty sure it is NOT a bass case, even though the overall length would be correct. I measured an EB-0 bass and the SG body is wrong and the tuning keys stick out way too far. So it is likely made for "banana headstock" LP varieties from the early 1980s, and possibly also the LP 12-String.

Also not sure how old this is, but I'm guessing late 70s to early 80s. But I don't know of what guitar from the 70s would it. I have not tested a Firebird body shape, so that is a remote possibility as well.

Condition wise, it is pretty good overall, with some obvious wear. The 5x brass latches all work fine. The handle has been repaired (see the handle screws), and there is some missing edge-banding on the back side. The stitching is also wearing on the edge banding in general, and the case compartment works, but the pull-tab is thinned out to being almost gone. But functionally, it works just fine.

This is a pretty rare case for the vintage 1980s Long Headstock Gibson guitars, and could be just the thing you have been looking for!!
