Up for consideration is a beautiful 1988 Gibson ES-175
electric guitar and case. This guitar has a beautiful Tobacco
Sunburst finish, and has all original parts. These guitars are
excellent instruments and are favored by Jazz greats like Pat
Metheny, Herb Ellis, Joe Pass, and Jim Hall, as well as rock
guitarist Steve Howe. New, these guitars currently sell for $3,599,

CONDITION
This guitar is in excellent condition, with the following
repairs: 1) There has been a headstock repair with a professional
overspray. The repair has been stable for over three years and
is faintly visible if you look for it carefully; 2) the tailpiece
is original, but screw holes indicate that it once had a different
tailpiece. It was purchased 5 years ago from California Guitars,
and has only been used in a smoke-free home and teaching strudio.
It has never been gigged with. The case is a nice form-fitted
case with a cut-out for the cutaway, but, the materal on the
inside lid of the case is torn, as can be seen in the photo.
