Knob Set for
Vintage Electrics
Up for consideration is a vintage Gibson knob set for 1950s era Gibson archtops, thinlines and electrics. This fully intact matched pair was recently removed from my 1959 Gibson ES-225 (non-original to that guitar) in order to do a coil tap with Humbucker PU w/ modern speed knobs. The vintage knobs are still in
excellent condition despite being 50-60 years old. Since vintage Gibson knobs sets in excellent condition are pretty rare, this may
be just the thing for a 1950s / early 1960s Gibon guitar restoration project,
vintage knob upgrade, or a direct replacement.

CONDITION
This vintage Gibson knob set is in very good condition with excellent shaft structure and clean faces. Both knobs are very nice, with some cloudy patches and clearer patches in spots, as would be expected from vintage plastic, but there no cracks or imperfections. Shaft struct is nicely intact, which insures excellent turning action without slipping or stripping.
