The vintage U67 tube mics now sell for about $7,500 and are one of the top mics Neumann ever made. With the TLM67, Neumann has the K67 capsule of the U67, the correct head grill for proper acoustic resonances, the same metal work, but instead of buillding the amplifier with an expensive tube circuit, they used their transformerless TLM amp together with an analog tube /transformer emulation circuit. The result is a warm, smooth vintage-sounding mic that puts you in the ballpark of a vintage U67 / U87 family at a fraction of the price. New, these mics sell for $2,199, and here is a rare chance to get a low-hours, dealer-demo mic in mint condition, saving about $500 -- and backed up by the full 2-Year Neumann factory warranty!!!

This mic has minimal amount of use on it recording time on acoustic guitar, with the full Neumann warranty. It sounds amazing -- very similar to a vintage U87, but with faster transients from the transformerless design, with a flatter frequency response (no 10k bump) and quiter self-noise.
