Up for consideration is a matched set of PRS 57/08 pickups. This pickup set is perhaps the best PAF style remake on the market, and considered my many to be the best pickup PRS makes. New, these pickups are not available -- except as a factory install by PRS, but then only on a PRS guitar, for $475 + Shipping both ways. But what if you have a nice Gibson or Epiphone guitar and want to get a PRS 57/08 pickup upgrade??? Here is a very rare chance to get this matched set of 57/08s -- in the more-desirable original non-engraved version, and save about $200, without even having to ship off a PRS guitar to PRS!!!

CONDITION
The pickps are in excellent condition and function perfectly. There is very almost no wear on the nickel plating, and only a few other minor signs of usage associated with normal playing time. The is the original first version with non-engraved covers, which many feel is the more desirable 57/08 version.
PRS PICK-UPS :
In my opinion PRS makes incredible sounding pickups, and is certainly a big reason why their guitars are so popular. I feel these are a big and very noticable upgrade over the stock Gibson '57 Classics, or any other pickup currently made by Gibson, and certainly a VERY BIG upgrade for any Epiphone / Korea / Japan / China pickup. I personally use a set of these in my Gibson ES-446 guitar, with the coil taps, and it is an amazing improvement over the stock pickups.
