VINTAGE: Fustero Classical Guitar Tuners

From a 1975 Ramirez 1a Classical Guitar

Fustero Tuners

Up for consideration is a vintage set of Fustero classical guitar tuners, recently pulled from a 1975 Ramirez 1a 6-string classical guitar. The tuners are in good working condition after being removed in order to do a 10-string guitar conversion. Since vintage Fuetero sets in good condition are relatively rare, and the new Fustero sets sell for $300, this may be just the ticket for a Ramirez guitar restoration project, or just to install the original tunser set that came with your vintage Ramirez 1a guitar.

Additional photos of the tuners in place on the guitar can be seen here, and hi resolution photos of the tuners are here.

*35 mm O.C.
* Gold Plated
* Classic Lyre design
* Original screws included
* Made in Spain

This Fustero tuner set is in very good condition with just some of the gold plating wearing off between the tuning buttons. The rollers seem to be in fairly good shape, with no cracks or other major defects. The iviroid buttons are fully intact with no cracks or broken chips. The gears seem to work fine when installed and strung up on the guitar. There is a little play when you turn them without any tension, but when installed they worked perfectly fine for me, and I did not notice any problems either in getting a smooth tuning movement on all 6 strings, or any other kind of problem associated with old or worn tuners.

USA Priority Mail shipping is $12.50, and I do accept PayPal. Thanks for looking. I am not a luthier so please ask questions before bidding. No returns -- sold as is. This auction is for one Fustero 6-String Tuner Set and mounting screws. No other accessories are included.
