CMC 3U condenser microphone body. These mics are widely revered
for live sound, location recording, dialog recordists and by
studio engineers -- especially for acoustic instruments. This
mic body is in excellent condition, and will accept the dozens
of capsules and accessories from the CMC Colette series.

current draw to allow the mic to run on battery power 48 Volt

CONDITION:
This mic is nearly mint condition, just showing some minor
marks from normal use in the Schoeps mic clip. Most Schoeps 12
volt mics easily can be powered at regular 48 volt phantom power,
but using a battery PSU can be an issue, and normally only generate
the proper current with new batteries. So Schoeps has modified
this mic to have reduced current consumption, and is even more
compatible with standard 48V battery powered PSUs. Just be sure
to always power off the mic before connecting and disconnecting
(read more HERE).
