Up for consideration is a factory-refurbished Schoeps CUT-1 low-cut filter for their CMC-series 3, 4, 5, and 6 mic bodies, and the M222 tube mic. This was owned by a recently retired pro film recordist who used this to record My Big Vat Greek Wedding!! This screw-on filter allows you to eliminate LF noise caused by wind, trucks, and other external location sources. The 5-stage LF filter is infinitely variable in slider settngs 1-5 which range in LF cuts from 70-600 Hz (click HERE for response charts). New, these CUT-1 filters sell for for $540, so here is a unique opportunity to own one -- newly refurbished by Schoeps, in 'As-New' condition, including the 1-year Factory Warranty, and still save about $100!!!
