Up for consideration is a very rare and completely
unobtainium Schoeps Elbow for their M221F,
CMT30F,
and CMMT30F
series of microphones. This screw-on elbow allows you to
change the mic footprint to side-addressed as the situation requires.
Originally, this elbow was made for French Broadcast ORTF
as a fixed mount ORFT setup, as can be seen here.
The new Schoeps GVC swivel elbow sells for $325, so here
is your chance to pick up a collectable, historic, working OFTF
prototype elbow and not even have to pay a premium!!!

CONDITION
This elbow is in excellent working condition and good
cosmetic condition. I recently tested it with several CMT30FNU
mics and capsules and there is absolutely no difference in terms
of noise, output or sonics when using this elbow.
HISTORICAL VALUE
Aside from being an excellent working elbow, this also
represents a piece of recording history. French Broadcast
ORTF invented the ORTF recording technique -- most likely
using Schoeps microphones -- and this was an early design solution
by Schoeps to standardize the ORTF setup for the set of Schoeps
mics and capsules they were using at the time. See here

MIC COMPATIBILITY
This elbow works with the M221F, CMMT30F, and CMMT30F
mics. It will not work with the M221a, M221b, CMMT30AF, CMT or
CMC mics. If you are not sure, please feel free to ask a question.
