Up for sale is a brand new WildWood Songsmith, which is an cardioid condenser built using a hand-made wooden mic body, with an open head grill for a natural sound that is perfect for tracking acoustic instruments. These mics are the antithesis of a standard production mic, as each mic is unique, in that it is built out of different hardwoods, so that each mic is one-of-a-kind. The Wildwood mic line no longer being manufactured, but we have the remaining factory inventory available here, so this is a rare opportunity to get your hands on one of these fantastic mics at close out prices. The Songsmith formerly retailed at $650, so this is now available at a price even below the original dealer cost!!

The WildWood concept was all about creating something new and unusual that was at once musical sounding, cosmetically beautiful, and yet still relatively affordable. These are all made by hand, one-at-a-time in the United States, from select hardwood bodies, with open mesh grills, lightweight and easy to mount; and as one user put it, “beautifully natural sounding, with a clarity and earthiness that sometimes has me choosing it over some of the five-figure classics.”
