Zildjian K Constantinople
20" Ride

Up for consideration is a Zildjian K Constantinople 20" Medium Heavy from 1997, weighing in at 2406g. This 20" ride is from the older series K Con series, and in fact may well be a prototype, as the Medium Heavy weight is not a known production model, and the 1997 manufacture date is 1 year before the official K Con release date in 1998. The 20" K Con Medium Heavy is pretty rare -- thus very hard to find. In addition, this particular cymbal was previously owned by Jonathan Mover, drummer, editor of Drumhead magazine, and owner of Skyline Recording in Manhattan. The new 20 " K Con medium sells for $449, so here is a great opportunity to get a rare, discontinued, premium-quality K Con 20 " ride in very good condition, and save $149!!!

"This was most likely one of my older Constantinoples that I had in
NYC at my studio. It was most likely played by a
number of Zildjian players that recorded in Skyline Studio and used my
gear: Anton Fig, Dave Mattacks, Shawn Pelton, Omar Hakim, Roy
Haynes, Robby Ameen, Jerry Marotta, Horacio Hernandez, Antonio
Sanchez, etc. and for sure, Steve Gadd used that cymbal on one of his
last sessions in Skyline, in which i set up my Tama kit for him, with
Zildjian cymbals and that would have been the ride, along with a 22"
as well. we actually talked about that in my interview with him in
Drumhead Magazine."
