SOLD Aria Pro II TA-40
Thinline, Fully Hollow-Body
Made in Korea
Here is a very nice 80s MIK Aria Pro II TA-40 in excellent condition. It has a great neck profile, and is fully hollow, so it is like an ES-330, except with humbuckers. It does have some blocks under the bridge to support the bridge + stop tailpiece.
It plays great, and surprisingly, these pickups sound really good!! Usually, people get these 1980s MIK fully-hollow guitars for mod projects -- but this set of PUPS sounded so good I had to pull them out to check and see if they were aftermarket upgrades, but I'm pretty sure these are the originals.
People are discovering how well these guitars are made, and this one plays fantastic, with low action and comfortable feeling neck. Also the burgundy wine color is pretty striking when hit with bright light. All in all, a fantastic, fully hollow-body thinline that can cover a lot of ground, sounding very authentic from jazz to blues to rock.
The Aria Pro II guitars are of very high quality, and you really do get a fantastic bang-for-buck value with these, and the burgundy wine color sets it apart from the crowd. This guitar is in excellent condition for being 30 years old. It does have a couple of dings (back of headstock), but overall is very clean and has been very well cared for. The guitar does not come with a case.
