Up for consideration is very nice Carlo Robelli D120 Manhattan, modded with 2x older Schaller HBs along with Vol/Tone pots -- making this a fantastic playing and amazing sounding guitar, with a sound similar to the high-end Heritage archtops guitars that used these same Schaller pickups -- but at a fraction of the price. The guitar has a pressed spruce top, and is otherwise the same guitar as the Peerless Monarch. Peerless has a long history of making excellent hollowbody jazz guitars, and this high-quality guitar is no exception.

The guitar already had a DIY humbucker mod when we first got it, so we just switched out the pickups to these perfectly matched vintage Schaller HB pickups, to make it sound like a Heritage. Action and frets are excellent, and the 1 11/16ths nut and thin/wide neck profile is very comfortable to play. The guitar plays great with no issues, and really sounds amazing -- with a professional, classic jazz archtop sound, with full basses thanks to these great vintage Schaller pickups. Does not come with a case.
