Up for consideration is very cool set of Gibson 490R / 498T   humbucking pickups, which is their slightly overwound modern PAF, giving you a smooth neck PUP combined with a higher output bridge pickup to easily cut through when playing leads. This set is standard issue on both Gibson Les Pauls and SGs, and they certainly sound great in both these guitars. Also, these make for a fantastic way to upgrade an Epi, import, or a custom solid body guitar. These sell for $250 new, so here is a great chance to pick up a slightly used 490R / 498T set in good condition and save $100. Sold as-is w/no returns, but guaranteed not to be DOA.
