High-Output 20k Ω Babybucker w/Beefy Split-Coil 2-Way Switch
Nut Width 1 9/16" (40.4 mm); Weight: 7 Lbs, 2 Oz.
Up for consideration is very nice vintage 1966 Kalamazoo KG-1 -- a Gibson-made guitar meant to rival the Fender Mustang -- with our Rio Grande Babybucker PUP mod by West Texas luthier, Michael Turko -- making this a fantastic-playing and great-sounding guitar, with several cool features, including a custom, beefy 2-way split-coil switch, a new custom pickguard, and a single volume knob placed up close for easy swells. The guitar has the original Gibson finish, Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, original Tuners, and truss rod cover, with modern pots, wiring and bridge. The Rio Grande 20k Ω Babybucker gives you that thick tone which sounds great on this bolt-on guitar, and the Rio HBs have very good sounding splits, and the Babybucker split gives you a bit of the Fender-style single-coil bite, and gives you the ability to use both sounds, making for a very versatile guitar. Here is a great opportunity to own an amazing-playing and great-sounding vintage 1966 Gibson guitar for under $500!!Does not come with a case.
