CLASSIC NEVE TRANSFORMER
RN17's have a huge Neve transformer that adds character and tone that imparts a smoothness and musicality to your tracks. The low-end is full and rich, and the mids and top are sweet and articulate. You can get some good proximity effect if you want to, or pull back for a more neutral capture. These are very versatile, excellent-sounding mics.
