Up for consideration is a vintage 1953 Epiphone Zephyr Regent archtop guitar and case -- a vintage Epiphone version of the Gibson ES-350 (and also ES175), featuring the New York pickup and rounded Venetian cutaway. This is a great guitar in excellent condition, that not only is a great-sounding, great-playing guitar, and great-looking but is built to the highest standards of quality, due to the 20+ year rivalry between Gibson and Epiphone. As many people are now discovering, these Epiphone archtops always rival and often surpass their Gibson counterparts, but at prices that are much more affordable that what the Gibsons are currently selling for. For example a mid 50s ES-350 or 175 sells for around $4k, so here is a great opportunity to own one in excellent condition, and save over $2,000!!!

CLASSIC EPIPHONE SOUND
Zephyr Regents have a great 1950s vintage archtop character and tone that imparts a roundess and open sound to your playing. The New York single-coil pickup has a wonderful sound that is perfectly matched to the archtop's electric voice. You can spend more on a guitar, but it doesn't get much better than this.
