Up for consideration is a 1995 Gibson Les Paul Classic electric guitar and case, a 1990's recreation of the classic Les Paul, with the addition of a highly flamed maple top, making it either a Premium Plus or a Plus, depending on whether the flamed maple was graded AA or AAA. Either way, it is a great guitar in both looks and sound, and so here is a chance to get a really nice mid-90s Flamed Maple LP Classic!!!

CLASSIC VINTAGE LP SOUND
Les Paul Classic has a great vintage character and sustaining tone that is the hallmark of the Les Paul sound. It is featured on so many hit records that it is a permanent part of our musical heritage, and may never be surpassed. Add to that a really stunning flamed maple top, and you have a guitar that speaks with great mojo, while at the same time playing with fire!!!

CONDITION:
The LP Classic is in good overall condition, with a few dings an marks marks here and there from 20 years of professional use. Overall pretty clean, about 7/10. Dings of note are 1) on back, near the edge of the upper waist; 2) on the back near the endpin jack; 3) on the side of lower bout, bass side just past the waist; 4) Case latch does not close; 5) Case wear at headstock.
PREMIUM PLUS OR PLUS:
This LP Classic is either a Premium Plus with an AAA grade flamed maple top, or a Plus with an AA grade, and the Gibson grade is SUPPOSED to be documented HERE in the of the markings in the pickup cavaties. I can see a TA in the neck pick up, indicating the finish selected as Translucent Amber. However I have NO CLUE what the markings in the bridge pickup say. I personally think it is a Premium Plus, because it has much more flame than several of the Plus LP Classics I have seen, but you will just have to determine it for yourself. Either way, the flamed maple top is very pronounced, and makes a beautiful eye-catching guitar, especially on stage under the spotlights!!
